There have been many terrible ceremonial first pitches over the years (like 50 Cent, Carl Lewis, and Mariah Carey), and Tuesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field brought us another one.

A Chicago White Sox employee was honored as the “Employee of the Month,” and was given the opportunity to throw out the first pitch before Tuesday’s game vs the Kansas City Royals. The pitch never had a chance, and somehow hit a cameraman standing several feet to the first base side of the mound.

Words can’t quite describe how bad it is though. Just see it for yourself:
