The atmosphere at Miami Marlins home games is usually lacking, so one cat decided to take matters into its own hands — err, paws — to spice things up.
The cat caused a delay during the Marlins-Braves game on Tuesday night at Marlins Park, as it ran around on the field, and then escaped by climbing up that wacky home run sculpture over the left-center field wall.
Yep, this actually happened:

Now, while all that was fun, there was concern about the cat after it appeared to have its head stuck in the home run sculpture. Yes, really:

However, Marlins Park released an update that the cat “appears to be safe”:
Update: We have suspended use of our home run sculpture for the time being & are monitoring #RallyCat, who appears to be safe at the moment.

Let’s hope so! Otherwise this story would all of a sudden get much less funny.
