As you know, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA championship on Sunday night. It was the first professional sports title the city of Cleveland has had in 52 years.

The following day, the Cleveland Indians made sure to recognize what the Cavs did, and had an awesome way of doing so. The Indians put a a picture of LeBron James kissing the Larry O’Brien Trophy on the “Kiss Cam” at Progressive Field:

The Indians would go on to win the game over the Rays by the score of 7-4, and are now 39-30, sitting one game ahead of the Kansas City Royals in the AL Central.

Maybe we could see an Indians star like Francisco Lindor kissing the World Series Trophy (The Comissioner’s Trophy) on the Cavs’ “Kiss Cam” in late October? FanGraphs currently gives the Tribe 79.6% playoff chances, so it’s certainly possible.
