Curt Schilling has to be in the news every few days. It doesn’t matter what it is, he will find a way to make headlines, like the one above.

Schilling has decided to let everyone know that he would like to run for a senate seat in Massachusetts as a Republican candidate. The current seat is filled by Elizabeth Warren, who is a notable politician that has grabbed the spotlight recently for butting heads with Donald Drumpf via social media. This isn’t the first time where Schilling has said that he is interested in running for the seat, he said as much back in August before backing away from the topic.

In his most recent declaration he said that he would run if he had approval from his wife, which…what? If you are going to make a life-altering decision, aren’t you going to consult with your wife immediately? This sounds like a ready-made excuse to bow out if things don’t go his way.

Considering the way the state leans, the amount of Republicans that have held the seat in the last century, and the fact that he’s Curt Schilling, he has a very, very tough road in front of him. So expect this to be a thing for about 48 hours before he cancels his “bid” for a Senate seat.

Ever since the bloody sock and World Series victory with the Boston Red Sox, not a lot is going Schilling’s way recently. Getting fired from his employer was a doozy and he then ran a video game company into the ground as well. He isn’t the type of person you want running for office, then again crazier things have happened… (see: Election, Current)
