DBacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks will wear new jerseys in 2024, the club announced on Friday.

Following an overwhelmingly successful season, the Diamondbacks will look different next season. The club announced four new jerseys for the club for 2024.

“4 new unis for ’24,” the Diamondbacks said. The DBacks’ graphic featured NL Rookie of the Year Corbin Carroll front and center.

The new uniforms have a mix of red and a neon bluish color on all of them. The only contrasts are the predominant colors of the uniforms. The jerseys have a predominant color of grey, cream/white, black, and red, per the graphic.

Arizona has changed their look a variety of times this century. They started their existence with the famed purple and green look, with the white-pinstripe vest. That look is best remembered for their 2001 World Series year. They switched to the red in the mid-2000s and have seen a few different combinations emerge.

All told, it’s a pretty clean look. While their previous jerseys weren’t necessarily “bad,” they have a good amount of pop and simplicity. And with that said, the also don’t offer much minimalism, a mindset that has destroyed jerseys in other sports leagues—namely the NBA.

There was plenty of reaction out there to the DBacks’ announcement of new jerseys. Reactions were pretty favorable across the board for the team’s new look.
