The Tampa Bay Rays have MLB’s best record (entered play on Thursday at 14-4), but found themselves trailing the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 in the ninth inning on Thursday night.
That was until Avisail Garcia launched a ridiculous dinger to center field to tie the game. The ball landed all the way up on a catwalk at Tropicana Field, very high in the air and far beyond the wall.
Statcast measured the homer at 447 feet (which even feels short) with a 112.8-mph exit velocity.
You hit it to the catwalk, you can toss your bat. 😱 pic.twitter.com/SXEINtZvGG

Nice bat toss as well.

Update: Unfortunately for Garcia, his amazing homer came in a loss. The Orioles won 6-5 in 11 innings.
