A fan at Fenway Park had a very rough time going after a Jean Segura foul ball during Friday night’s Red Sox-Mariners game.

Segura cranked a line drive into the upper deck, and a man whiffed on the ball, before tumbling forward multiple rows:

That had to be a bit painful, but the embarrassment there probably outweighed the physical pain felt. AND he didn’t get the foul ball. That’s a tough sequence!

This is also why the upper deck can be terrifying. We laugh at this guy’s tumble now, but it was pretty close to being no laughing matter.
