Ahh yes, the old drunken Burger King stop. It’ll get you every time.

The Royals were in Cleveland on Sunday night and lost 12-0, but Duffy was back home for an MRI on Saturday according to The Kansas City Star. Duffy was with the team on Monday as the team opened a new series against Tampa Bay, but he did not talk to reporters.

The team, via general manager Dayton Moore, released a statement about Duffy’s arrest.

According to a report from Sports Radio 810 WHB, Duffy is scheduled to be arraigned on September 19. The Royals are scheduled to be in Toronto for a game against the Blue Jays that night. As of right now, it is unknown if Duffy will attend his arraignment and travel to join his team later that day or at a later point.

Duffy is 8-8 this season with a 3.78 ERA in 21 games. He last pitched on August 22 and picked up a win in a 3-2 victory.
