Shortstop Cole Tucker was a first-round pick in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft and has played in over 150 big league games throughout his career. He’s a legitimate baseball star, but he’s nowhere close to the most famous person in his own household.
In February, Tucker officially announced his engagement to one of Hollywood’s biggest names: Vanessa Hudgens. And from the sound of it, the star actress couldn’t be more in love with her baseball star beau.
“It feels amazing. It’s so funny, I was talking about this with Cole [Tucker], my partner, and people are always like, ‘Does it feel different? Do things feel different?’ That was always my question normally, but now I get to be asked it,” Hudgens said about Tucker during a recent appearance on the Today Show. “And you know what, it actually does. There’s a sense of security. You feel so safe. It’s the best thing ever. I love being a fiancée.”
Tucker is currently in the Colorado Rockies organization after signing with the team as a free agent this past offseason. Before that, he spent the vast majority of his Major League Baseball career within the Pirates organization after the team drafted him in the first round back in 2014.
