Blue Jays manager John Schneider against the Yankees.

The Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees have always disliked each other due to their constant AL East battles. However, things seemed to get personal between the two teams on Tuesday after Blue Jays manager John Schneider hurled a nasty insult toward Yankees manager Aaron Boone.

This series between the two teams has already been drama-filled. Boone was ejected from Monday’s game after arguing balls and strikes. Yankees slugger Aaron Judge also received a ton of criticism for his strange gesture toward his dugout in Monday’s game.

Things didn’t exactly calm down in Tuesday’s game as the two teams were at each other’s throats yet again. Things took a nasty turn when the Blue Jays dugout complained about where Yankees’ third base coach Luis Rojas was standing.

The umpires then stopped play and told Rojas to stand in the designated area. Aaron Boone then came out to talk to the umpires as well. This led to John Schneider appearing the tell Boone to “shut up, fat boy.”

Boone didn’t appear to pay any attention to Schneider’s comment. However, the MLB world clearly took notice of it.

This was not the end of complaints coming from both teams. The Yankees later complained about where Blue Jays’ third base coach Luis Rivera was standing in the fourth inning.

There is clearly a ton of gamesmanship from both sides in this matchup, and it clearly stems from a ton of bad blood between these two teams.
