The Boston Celtics faced off against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. And to put it nicely, it was not a fun night to be a Pacers fan…
Through three games this season, the Celtics look like early contenders to be the best team in the conference, and perhaps the entire NBA.
They lived up to that billing and then some in their fourth game of the year on Wednesday, dominating the Pacers en route to a shockingly lopsided score…

Just about every member of the Celtics starting five had an excellent game. Each of them scored at least double-digit points, led by Jayson Tatum who finished with a game-high 30 points.

The 51-point win for Boston is the largest margin of victory of any team this season. And the Celtics’ 155 points in the game is the second most points the team has ever scored in franchise history.
The Celtics defeated the Pacers 155-104, their 2nd-most points scored in a game in franchise history (173 points against the Lakers on Feb. 27, 1959).

This victory for the Celtics also keeps their perfect record intact, which is certainly impressive considering they are the only undefeated team remaining in the Eastern Conference.
It seems like their offseason moves like trading for Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis have worked like a charm. And if this performance is any indication, they will be a force to be reckoned with for the rest of the Eastern Conference.
