DeMarcus Cousins finds himself back on the court after signing a deal with the Taiwan Beer Leopards.

The post, which was translated, had a statement from the team’s chief operating officer, Mr. Nang:
“I believe that with Cousins’ accumulated experience and excellent offensive ability in the NBA, it will bring a super enhancement to Taiwan’s Yongfeng Yun Leopard’s battle capabilities.”
The post also added that Cousins will arrive in Taiwan in mid-January where the team plans to make the home debut. Sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the contract is for 10 days and a four-game window.
Cousins, a four-time NBA All-Star who spent 14 seasons in the league, had a tenure with the Denver Nuggets earlier this year. He mainly played off the bench for the team that was excelling.
He’s also not the first former NBA player to play overseas for a short period.
Eight-time All-Star Dwight Howard signed with the Taoyuan Leopards in 2022.
It’s nice to see Cousins still having a place to play. He’s not too far removed from being one of the biggest names in the game and helping the Warriors’ odds after his signing to make them advance to the playoffs.
