André Ingram has a unique role in the history of the Los Angeles Lakers. The longtime G League player signed with the Lakers for the final two games of the 2017-18 NBA season and at 32, made his NBA debut. In his debut game, Ingram scored 19 points and shot 6 for 8 from the field, including four 3’s. It was a memorable story of perseverance and never giving up as Ingram’s decade of hard work proved to be rewarding.

Ingram can now add another achievement to his unique career, Wheel of Fortune champion. The shooting guard dominated Friday night’s game and won $31,750, including a $17,500 win on a single puzzle. Ingram failed to win the bonus round (which would’ve added an additional $39,000) but he had a great haul regardless.

Ingram joins Bill Walton as someone who has played in the NBA and won on Wheel of Fortune so that is some great company.
