As part of the fallout from Ime Udoka’s scandal involving a female Boston Celtics employee, he split from former fiance Nia Long.

Now, Long is taking him to court over custody of their son.

The couple, who were engaged but not married, have an 11-year-old son named Kez. While the duo said that they intended to co-parent him despite dissolving their relationship, the actress is now claiming that Udoka isn’t stepping up to the plate.

Per TMZ, Long has filed for primary custody of their son in a California court, claiming that Udoka has “failed to support” him.

“According to the docs, however, she did ask the judge to allow Udoka a reasonable opportunity to visit their kid to the extent ‘consistent with the child’s best interest,'” TMZ wrote.

The judge in the case has not made a decision as of yet.

In December, Long told the Hollywood Reporter that the ongoing situation between her and the former Celtics head coach was “devastating” for Kez.

Udoka is currently the head coach of the Houston Rockets.
