Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown suffered a facial fracture after colliding with teammate Jayson Tatum on Wednesday night.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Brown could be sidelined through the All-Star break, but will see a specialist on Thursday:

The All-Star shooting guard appeared to take an accidental elbow to the face under the basket at the end of the first half of a 106-99 Celtics win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Both Brown and Tatum were chasing an offensive rebound.

Brown’s early exit was the cherry on top of a rather spoiled sundae.
Heading into the matchup, the Celtics were down three starters and it was the first game without a 20-point scorer.

Hopefully the Celtics aren’t without Brown too long. He was selected as an All-Star reserve after averaging 26.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists this season.
