Two months after the Golden State Warriors won their fourth NBA title in the past eight seasons, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum sat down with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks to discuss a number of topics stemming from last season.

During that sit-down discussion, the Celtics star opened up about the wrist injury he suffered but still managed to play through it.

“It showed that I had a non-displaced fracture in my wrist,” Tatum said. “I chipped a bone but it didn’t leave the surface. It showed that the bone had grown over it so it healed but I was still in pain because I kept getting it hit or falling on it. I played with somewhat of a fracture for two months.”

Tatum’s revelation gave way to a plethora of interesting reactions on NBA Twitter.

Whether Tatum was healthy at the time or not, the Warriors were certainly playing championship basketball while the Celtics were constantly dealing with turnover problems. Boston managed to push the series to six games before the Dubs eventually closed things out at TD Garden.

The 24-year-old superstar also made headlines this past weekend after participating in a Seattle Pro-Am tournament alongside LeBron James, making for an amazing highlight between the two.

Is this James’ way to recruit Tatum to the Lakers? We highly doubt it, but that hasn’t stopped many from already speculating.
