While Eastern Conference Finals MVP was doing his press conference after his team’s victory over the Boston Celtics, Jimmy Butler had an unexpected visitor. A bumblebee decided to join him, which totally freaked Butler out.

“Oh my God, y’all saw that?!” a shocked Butler asked as he was trying to defend himself. ” !#% bumblebee.”

His response was hilarious because, to many, Butler is known as a tough guy and, of course, is the face and the leader of the Miami Heat.

For him to react the way he did to an insect is quite frankly funny. Butler also made some news before his press conference when he refuse to accept the Eastern Conference Championship Trophy.

Saying, “I’ll hold the next one,” meaning he is holding out until they win the NBA title, and he gets to hold that trophy if his team beats the Denver Nuggets.

This is Butler’s second time leading the Heat to the Finals, the first being three years ago during COVID in the bubble, where they lost to the LA Lakers.

So while he is happy his team finished off the Celtics, he refuses to celebrate their victory too long, knowing the Nuggets are on deck next.

He knows it will take a lot of work to finish off the Nuggets, but from the looks of that press conference, he was more afraid of that bumblebee than the Nuggets.

The NBA Finals start Thursday.
