The Los Angeles Lakers pummeled the Houston Rockets 117-100 on Tuesday night, and one play from LeBron James in the second quarter really summarized how the game went.

LeBron put up a corner three, and immediately turned to stare back at the Lakers bench instead of watching the shot, which went in.

And the replay angle may be even better:

Now, it would be pretty embarrassing to do that if the shot missed, a la Nick Young.

But, this is another example of why LeBron is the King.

Update: LeBron explained more about the shot in his postgame presser, and said how Lakers teammate Dennis Schroder told him right as the shot was going up, “Bet you won’t make it!” So LeBron turned to look at Schroder in the eye and confirm the bet. Amazing.
