After hearing that Charlotte Hornets rookie Brandon Miller called him the GOAT, LA Clippers star Paul George says he wants to mentor him.

Miller surprised everyone when he said that George, not LeBron James or Michael Jordan was the GOAT, which raised the eyebrows of several NBA fans.

George was not only flattered by the comment but now is offering to help the rookie out.

“Use me, use me as much as you want,” George told Miller. “Use me as a resource, bro. That’s what I’m here for. I want to help you in every step that you need if you need,” he said. “Make that journey a lot smoother and easier for you.”

George finally met Miller on his podcast recently and Miller was very excited to meet him.

“It’s exciting just him being in my presence,” Miller said to PG’s co-host. “It’s definitely a great moment, been lookin’ up to him for a long time.”

“Now I’m up here with him, now I get to compete against him I think is an even better experience,” he added.

Not many NBA stars would offer to mentor a rookie especially if he plays for another team, but George doesn’t seem to mind and appreciates the acknowledgement.

At this point of my career, I look forward to the mentorship,” George said, “and I look forward to helping the next generation.”
