The Cleveland Cavaliers don’t want to give Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry any space.

In advance of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Cavaliers forward Richard Jefferson snapchatted a photo of him in Cleveland’s locker room, showcasing his kicks before the matchup. What else appeared on Jefferson’s Snapchat? A monitor showing Steph Curry, his impressive stats, and the phrase “No Air Space.”

It’s no surprise the Cavaliers don’t want to give any room to the reigning MVP. Curry has averaged more than 25-points-per-game in the playoffs and is the best shooter in the NBA. There’s no way to keep him in check as if you throw double teams his way, he’ll do magical things to still get buckets. You can’t stop him, you can only hope to contain him. Even in the rare feat you do contain him, you still have to worry about Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. There’s a reason the Warriors posted the best record in NBA history this season.

Cleveland has their backs against the wall as they need to win on Thursday at home to keep their playoff hopes alive. If they can give Curry no space, they’ve got a chance at forcing a Game 7. That’s easier said than done, however. Winning, even on their home court, is going to be tough. Tonight’s game is going to be one hell of a battle.
