Sam Hinkie

Sam Hinkie will be telling future Stanford students to trust the educational process.

The former Philadelphia 76ers general manager and President of Basketball Operations has a reputation for verbosity, so to no surprise, after joining twitter, he tweeted out a ten-part, protracted tweet about his career shift to teaching at Stanford.

Hinkie’s first tweet included some irrelevant information. Do we need to know where the Starbucks he’s sending the message is from or its proximity to his house?

The 38-year-old mused about his time off, expressing if he was younger he would have backpacked around the world and snowboarder more.

He followed that up with some pompous parenting bullshit.

Hinkie discussed his learning process and how rare it was he could take his time to learn things opposed to quickly rushing to learn. *starts falling asleep*

*checks phone after waking up* oh, he’s still tweeting?

Hinkie goes on to plug Stanford without namedropping them yet.

Finally, Hinkmeister reveals he’ll teach at Stanford while continuing his thirst for knowledge. He’s essentially become that annoying YouTube ad guy Tai Lopez.

Wrap it up, Hinkie… we don’t have all day.

The analytics wizard still wants to go tubular and do some more snowboarding. I’d love to see that.

Finally, summing up his essay on knowledge, Hinkie wants viewers to send him things to read. Here’s a resource I suggest he consider tackling.

Hinkie is still the tanking GOAT for ripping apart the 76ers in the name of the process and rebuilding them from scratch. He won’t reap the rewards of his rebuild, but Hinkie will forever be ingrained alongside any future success of the 76ers.

With all that said, Sam, you could have written this in a couple tweets at most. I know you have a hard-on for words (hello 13-page essay) but it is possible to self-edit. Here’s another thing to read, on the house, since you’re taking suggestions.
