NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant are some of the best basketball players in the history of the sport. They are also two of the sport’s most prolific Twitter users, so sparks were bound to fly if the two ever came into conflict.

And that’s exactly what happened Sunday afternoon after Durant took issue with O’Neal previously claiming he didn’t know NBA players that weren’t in the Top-10, saying he wasn’t watching “the Bullets or the Wizards.”

Durant called the NBA legend out for the move.

“Shaquille don’t know ball?” Durant asked, presumably rhetorically.

O’Neal took issue with the tweet. In his apparent anger, O’Neal forgot how Twitter works and responded to an entirely different Kevin Durant tweet featuring him discussing the differences in style between famous rappers J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar.

“I don’t know ball, but I know how to brush my hair or decide to cut it when I was going bald. Love always, THE BUS DRIVER,” O’Neal wrote.

Durant is no stranger to internet beefs, so it won’t be surprising if he responds to Shaq’s salvo. However, Durant had yet to respond by mid-Sunday afternoon. If this is indeed the last word in the feud, it certainly ended on a personal note.
