The Golden State Warriors were dealt a heavy blow last month. Multi-time NBA Champion and MVP Steph Curry injured his left shoulder and was ruled out for a few weeks. Now, the team has revealed a potential timeline for him to return.

Warriors General Manager Bob Myers recently revealed that Steph could return very soon. Myers appeared on the Steiny & Guru show on 95.7 The Game in San Francisco on Wednesday, where he provided an update. Via Audacy, “‘I hope so,” Myers told hosts Matt Steinmetz and Daryle ‘The Guru’ Johnson. “He’s gonna get evaluated this weekend. He’s working out on the court. The two-week mark to evaluate him is this weekend. At this point, there’s been no setbacks or anything like that. The first game is what – Friday at San Antonio? That would be a hope. That would be what we’re shooting for, something in that range where he could be back.'”

So, assuming the best-case scenario occurs, Curry figures to be good to go for next Friday. The Warriors will travel to Texas to play the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, January 13.

It’s no ordinary game either, as the Western Conference showdown will be held at the historic Alamodome in San Antonio as opposed to their usual home of the AT&T Center.

The team revealed on Thursday that they have several festivities and guests planned for the special game.

The game could get a lot of added spice too if Curry is added to the pot.
