The No. 9 Duke Blue Devils beat Wake Forest 76-74 in an ACC battle that featured a wild finish on Tuesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke led the game by as many as 19 points in the second half, but the Demon Deacons went on a stunning run in the final minutes to tie the game 74-74 with 18 seconds remaining.
And what followed in the final seconds was absolute craziness.
First, Duke had a putback dunk from Mark Williams with under a second remaining that was ruled as good after review;

That seemingly ended the game, but Wake Forest followed that up with what would’ve been one of the most incredible shots in college basketball history.
Damari Monsanto had this absurd full-court rim out, though he may not have gotten it off in time. Regardless, this is the most impressive miss you’ll see for a while!

And all of this drama happened after Mike Krzyzewski didn’t coach the second half after “not feeling well,” according to Duke. Jon Scheyer replaced Coach K as head coach for the rest of the game.
🐐 Update: Coach K is not feeling well. Will not return to bench tonight.

Developing situation here at #Duke:
Coach K has not emerged from the halftime locker room, and Jon Scheyer is currently speaking to the team from the seat K normally does. K has been attended to by Duke trainers several times already tonight.

While there’s been no official medical update on Coach K’s condition, Scheyer and Duke players said he was in better spirits after the game.
“It was great to see he was up and doing well.”

Jon Scheyer says that Coach K was still in the building and spoke to the team postgame. Was obviously in a better mood after Duke managed to hold on to win.
