You wouldn’t blame now-former Virginia Tech football head coach Frank Beamer for showing up at Lane Stadium on gameday without a ticket. He’s been showing up there for every game since 1987 and cruising right through the gates to the locker room.

After 29 seasons, however, Beamer is a civilian (well, not really, he’s now Special Assistant to the VT Athletic Director), which means that in theory he better check with the ticket office before trying to just walk through the gates. Otherwise this might happen…

“Ticket? Don’t have a ticket.” Give that man an Oscar. Or at least a Golden Globe. Those are pretty easy to get.

First-year Hokies coach Justin Fuente had better make sure he gets some wins quickly or else that might be him getting denied entrance to the stadium.
