Insane home-run robbery from Oral Roberts outfielder Blaze Brothers.

Tuesday’s college baseball game between the No. 16 ranked Oregon State Beavers and the No. 24 ranked Oral Roberts featured one of the best catches of the season on a hit that certainly should have been a home run.

The play occurred in the top of the eighth inning with Oklahoma State third baseman Tyler Wulfert at the plate.

Wulfert drove a ball deep to right field, but Oral Roberts right fielder Blaze Brothers came up with an amazing play to rob him of a home run.

Many around the college baseball world took notice of this unreal play and praised Brothers on social media.

This ridiculous play ended the inning and certainly gave a boost to his team for the rest of the game. Oral Roberts would score two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

They would allow two runs in the ninth inning, but come away with a 9-7 victory for the upset victory.

This game likely meant a lot to Oral Roberts head coach Ryan Folmar, who is an alumnus of Oklahoma State. Folmar also took notice of the impressive home-run robbery from Brothers, praising him in a message to his team after the game.

“A lot of things happened in that game. We had some defensive plays. Where is Blaze?” said Folmar as his teammates erupted in celebration of the play.

It’s a big win for Oral Roberts as we inch closer to the postseason in college baseball. This victory puts the Golden Eagles win streak to five games and makes their overall record an impressive 33-11 on the year.
