Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is set to enter his eighth season at the helm of one of the most storied programs in the history of college football.

The Wolverines will look to return to the College Football Playoff as well as look for continued success against their blood rivals, the Ohio State Buckeyes, whom the Wolverines have beaten two years in a row for the first time since the 1990s.

Harbaugh is hoping to set that championship tone during training camp, and according to him, things are going according to plan. A reporter recently asked Harbaugh to describe how the Wolverines’ fall camp is going in a single word.

Harbaugh, never one to shy away from a linguistic challenge, didn’t hesitate.

“Vibrant,” Harbaugh said. “This is vibrant. That’s my word. I can’t get that word out of my head. It just best describes the vibe, the mentality. It’s infectious. Can’t help but not pick up on that and that was well-defined. It’s vibrant”

The Wolverines open their season on Sept. 2nd against the East Carolina Pirates. They open Big Ten play on Sept. 23 against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and conclude regular season play against Ohio State on Nov. 25.
