Last season was not particularly good for the Nebraska Cornhuskers as they finished the season with a 3-9 record. However, there was some source of optimism as eight of the team’s nine of last season’s losses came by one score or less.

To ensure so many close losses don’t happen again this season, it appears head coach Scott Frost and his coaching staff are pushing their players extra hard this offseason – perhaps even a little too hard if one recent report is true.

Frost told Nebraska writer Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald that new Nebraska offensive line coach Donovan Raiola is pushing his position group so hard that the group is vomiting 15-20 times per practice during preseason camp.

“It’s not because they’re not in shape – he’s just working them hard,” Frost told McKewon.

While Frost might find this impressive, most others definitely did not. Upon hearing this report, the college football world took to Twitter to express their disbelief and admonish Frost and Raiola for bragging about pushing their athletes so hard that they vomit.

While it’s unclear whether or not Frost was exaggerating, the report definitely raised some eyebrows and will likely have people paying a little closer attention to Frost and Raiola.
