The Tennessee Volunteers softball team is riding high. After taking two of three from the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Vols are 26-2 on the season. The new D1Softball rankings have them still at No. 3 behind juggernauts Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Not a terrible place to be!

Just as we mentioned, Tennessee defeated Alabama in a pivotal ranked vs. ranked series this past weekend. The Volunteers sent the Crimson Tide away and tumbled them down to 16th in the polls.

After they beat ‘Bama 7-5 on Sunday, the Volunteers partook in some trolling. They sent them away with a “lil’ drivin’ music for the ride home.” The Tennessee Softball account published a video with “Dixieland Delight” playing in the background.

This is not the first time that Tennessee has jabbed Alabama like this. The Vol football team beat the Crimson Tide this past year and the PA system at Neyland Stadium belted the song out, to which fans responded by singing it in unison.

“Dixieland Delight” was often played at Alabama football games before they removed it in 2015. It’s since returned a few years ago. But even the Tide isn’t safe from any kind of trolling.

Several Tennessee fans and otherwise took this with great delight.
