Ohio State and Michigan is arguably the greatest rivalry in college sports, so when it comes to stories like these, there’s really no surprise.

According to Scout.com’s James Grega Jr., Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer kicked out three people from the team’s scrimmage at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Saturday morning simply because they were wearing blue.

Meyer wasn’t playing about kicking those in blue out, either. He really wanted to see them gone:

It’s not the first instance of Meyer punishing those that come into his presence wearing blue. Back in August, Meyer made students wearing blue do push ups in front of everybody in the room.

It was also reported by The Detroit News that former Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz was told to change out of a blue sweater he was wearing when visiting Ohio State football practice Saturday.

In a rivalry where the letter M is banned in the state of Ohio during the week that the Buckeyes play the Michigan Wolverines, you really shouldn’t expect anything less from one of college football’s best coaches.
