Normally one definitive play can make or break a game.

When the powerhouse Auburn Tigers faced off the normally weak Vanderbilt Commodores, many believed they knew the outcome of the game before it even started.

The play started off like every other game clinching touchdown, running to the goal line and he unfortunately came up limp. Watching it live, it was unbelievably sad. You never want to see a player get injured but it seemed at that point that fate may end up on Vanderbilt’s side.

Auburn ended up surviving despite the ill timed injury. Intercepting the ball on 4th and 18 and solidifying the victory.

Do you remember an injury with worse timing than this?
