All good arguments are decided with rock, paper, scissors. The next logical step is using it in athletics to decide important moments.

Western Michigan faced off against Dayton in lacrosse, and due to inclement weather, they weren’t able to play the match. To decide who won, they chose to play rock, paper, scissors, the best game on the planet. This video is exactly how you’d imagine it:

Western Michigan won due to their rock, paper, scissors prowess. This is how all rain delayed sports should be determined. Nobody should have to wait around for hours to play a game when it is just as easy to play a best two-out-of-three game of rock, paper, scissors.

You would’ve thought Western Michigan won a Super Bowl with the amount of enthusiasm they showed. If you are wondering if the school condones this, the official twitter seems to count it:

Simplicity is beauty.
