The late New England Patriots and Florida Gators star tight end Aaron Hernandez saw his football career come to an abrupt end after his arrest and conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd. And it looks like his brother is now in some legal trouble related to shocking violent crimes, as well.

According to arrest documents obtained by WSFB this week, Dennis “DJ” Hernandez, the brother of Aaron Hernandez, appeared to be planning school shootings at the University of Connecticut and Brown University before he was arrested.

As WSFB reports, an ex-girlfriend of DJ Hernandez told Bristol police that he actually drove to the campuses of UConn and Brown to “map the schools out,” speculating that it was because he was planning a “school shooting.”

In text messages obtained by police, DJ Hernandez claimed that “UConn program is going to pay” and claimed that “not all shootings are bad” and that “some are necessary for change.”

“I’m taking down everything and I don’t give a [expletive] who gets caught in the crossfire. I’ve died for [years] now and now its others peoples turn,” he said. “I’m prepared to give my life so if I don’t get to see you on the outside know I love you always. Not all shootings are bad I’m realizing. Some are necessary for change to happen.”
