When New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers made his regular appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Tuesday, he had a few things he had to say.

The Jets have struggled since his injury, and it all came to a head in their loss Sunday to the New England Patriots. After the loss, some of Rodgers’s new teammates started fighting on the sidelines.

Rodgers took the opportunity to call them out on their immaturity.

“This is what teams have to go through. There’s adversity points in every season. This year it’s happening early, and people are coming for us, and there are some heated conversations on the sideline and different things,” Rodgers said.

But Rodgers also added, “I think we need to hold our poise a little better, really just offensively. We need to not have some of those things happening on the sideline, and to be a little better, and to be a little better competitors.”

Rodgers was referring to Garrett Wilson and Michael Carter getting into it.  Rodgers also said players need to stop blaming the coaching staff or each other.

“Don’t point fingers at the coaching staff. Don’t point fingers at each other. Just get back to work and get the job done. It’s more the side stuff that I don’t like, and I want to see us stick together through the tough times,” Rodgers said.

Clearly, Rodgers’s absence has brought the team to the brink, and he’s not happy about it.
