New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has never shied away from nontraditional medical advice.

Rodgers, who tore his Achilles tendon on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills, recently said that he will prove the critics wrong in his rehab process and return to the football field next year.

While he has kept his rehab plans close to the vest, Rodgers revealed one insane method that he’ll use in his rehab on an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

“There’s ideas that some of the noises from the dolphins when they’re love-making, the frequency of that is actually healing to the body,” Rodgers said.

McAfee asked Rodgers if he would put his Achilles next to the dolphins and let their “whistling” start working on his injury.

Rodgers wouldn’t rule out that he could return for the NFL’s postseason, should the Jets make the playoffs, despite that being a highly unlikely scenario.

But it won’t be all the sweet sounds of dolphin love-making for Rodgers’ rehab. The New York Post obtained photos of a portable hyperbaric chamber being delivered to his home in Malibu, California. The Post noted it “could provide a sign of possible treatment he’s using.”

Nonetheless, the NFL world was quick to react to the news:
