Aaron Rodgers Auburn bet

As the New York Jets get ready to host the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, Aaron Rodgers had to take care of a little business.

You see, Rodgers’ Cal Bears faced off against the Auburn Tigers on Saturday with the Bears losing, 14-10.

Rodgers and his Jets teammate, C.J. Uzomah, who attended Auburn, made a bet: The loser had to wear the winning team’s colors.

In this case, Rodgers had to wear the orange and blue of the Auburn Tigers. Uzomah filmed the whole thing and said “Aaron,” he said in the clip, “you love it. Say, ‘War Eagle.’ Just one time.”

Even the school picked up on the post and reposted it to their Instagram account.

“The newest fan of Auburn Football 🤣” AU wrote. “Sorry @aaronrodgers12, looks like @cj_uzomah won this one 👀.”

The game itself was very exciting, coming down to a final play. The Tigers prevailed in the defensive struggle, stopping the Bears on their final play.

What also made this game even more interesting is that it marked the first time the two schools have faced each other. Auburn has played other Pac-12 teams like USC and Oregon, but never Cal.

And in the end, as Rodgers can attest, the Tigers came out on top.
