It’s safe to say that Green Bay Packers’ season-opening showdown against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings did not quite go according to plan for star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers struggled mightily on offense, not scoring a single point in the first half of Sunday afternoon’s game. And Rodgers certainly let his emotion and frustration show with an outburst on the sideline after yet another failed drive. The Fox cameras captured Rodgers’ temper tantrum and shared it on social media.

Rodgers has been vocal about his frustration with the team’s young wide receivers throughout the preseason, criticizing the unit for “a lot of drops, a lot of bad route decisions, running the wrong route.” It appears Rodgers’ concerns came to roost on Sunday afternoon as the Packers struggled to move the ball, and he wasn’t shy about expressing his emotion.
Whether it was justified or not, Rodgers’ outburst caused quite a stir in the NFL world, which offered several reactions to the wild video on social media. Rodgers quickly became a meme.

I appreciate Aaron Rodgers' heel turn the past couple of years, it's really enriched the experience https://t.co/7S9WJFX5wm

It’s a long season and the Packers still have time to improve their offense. But still, the first game certainly didn’t lead to a lot of optimism for Rodgers and the Green Bay offense.
