Adam Vinatieri has had a rough season. The 46-year-old future hall of famer isn’t the Adam Vinatieri who kicked Super Bowl game winning field goals but he could still kick a football. In fact, over the past few years, Vinatieri has been just as or more accurate than in his Patriots glory days.

Unfortunately, after a 2019 season that started with two missed field goals and three missed extra points in the first two weeks, Vinatieri was in a bad way. With retirement rumors on the horizon, Vinatieri turned around his season and has only missed one field goal (a 57-yarder) in eight attempts since.

The hot foot of Vinatieri was needed in Indianapolis as he kicked three field goals, including a 51-yard game winning attempt, to lift the Colts over the Denver Broncos 15-14.

Despite missing his first extra point attempt since Week 2, Vinatieri was the primary scorer in the low-scoring affair. Both teams struggled to put points on the board but in the end, it was the ageless kicker getting clutch once again.
