On Saturday morning, the NFL world was sent into quite a stir when a report surfaced that suggested that Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was about to be traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. And even though multiple outlets have since refuted the initial report, it sounds like Philadelphia Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown would welcome a trade for his former teammate.

On Saturday afternoon, A.J. Brown made it clear that he would be in favor of his Eagles pursuing a trade for Derrick Henry, pointing out that the No. 22 jersey is even available for him to wear if he chooses.

“Nobody has #22. Make it happen if it’s possible,” Brown said in a tweet, adding the flexing arm emoji at the end.

Obviously, Brown and Henry know each other well. Before he was traded to the Eagles in 2022, Brown played his first three seasons in Tennessee alongside Henry after he was drafted by the team in 2019.

It’s safe to say that both players were very successful playing together as both Henry and Brown made the Pro Bowl during the 2020 and 2022 seasons. Given their success together, it makes sense that the two would like to reunite in Philadelphia with the Eagles.
