Detroit Lions star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has emerged as one of the top wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft class, catching more passes than anyone in his class last season. But there were 16 other receivers selected ahead of him in the draft, and he’s never going to forget about that.

During a recent appearance on the NFL Network Monday, Amon-Ra St. Brown made it clear that where he was selected in the draft still fuels him to this day.

“I actually still think about it,” St. Brown said according to Pro Football Talk. “I actually have my goals written down in my notebook. What I want to achieve every year. So, what I want to achieve this year going into the season, my personal goals, and then right below that I have the 16 receivers written down, where they went to college right below that. And so, I read that whole list three times before I go to practice every day. It’s something I’ll never forget. Something I make sure I’m always reminded of.”

Throughout his career, we’ll have to see if St. Brown is able to continue making those teams regret passing on him in the NFL Draft.
