The Buffalo Bills are coming off perhaps the most impressive win of the season in Week 4, dominating the previously undefeated Miami Dolphins in a 48-20 rout. Things may be looking up even more in Week 5 for Buffalo, as star edge rusher Von Miller could potentially make his season debut in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Miller started the season on IR, meaning that he was forced to miss the first four games of the season. He is now eligible to return, and it sure sounds like Miller will do everything in his power to take the field on Sunday.
“I don’t know if fans can expect to see me yet,” Miller said on his podcast, The VonCast via Bleacher Report. “But if I was a betting man, I’d say that yeah, you can expect to see me in London.”
Fans of Miller took notice of his comments and could not be more excited to potentially see him out on the field again.

Not great news for an already struggling Jaguars offensive line 😬 https://t.co/EV7PptQwVA

@VonMiller push this week, we want to see you in London man. Fingers crossed for you 💪

Ton of respect for Von Miller's belief in himself and the power of positive thinking.
However, if you are the decision maker for the #Bills…
Putting a star asset like Miller on the field after one padded practice since Thanksgiving does not seem wise.— Thad Brown (@thadbrown7) October 3, 2023
I'm sure the Bills will slowly ease Von Miller back into his starting role over the next few weeks. He played 61% of snaps in 2022, but I doubt we'll see him hitting anywhere near those kind of numbers until later in the season. #BillsMafia

There is obvious optimism about these comments. But there are obstacles to Miller returning for this game. This is because the Bills have a limited number of practices before they have to fly over to London for the game on Thursday night. And that may not give Miller enough time to get back up to speed.
The Bills have one padded practice before flying to London. Miller later detailed that he needs to look “amazing” in that practice to get the okay to play.
“I wanna play in this game,” Miller added. He continued, saying, “I really don’t have all the time in the world to figure it out. I have one padded practice tomorrow. So hopefully, I look amazing tomorrow, and everybody will give me the green light to play.”
Miller has done nearly everything there is to do in the NFL over the course of his lengthy 12-year NFL career. He has eight Pro Bowl appearances and two Super Bowl championships. Miller won Super Bowl MVP after Super Bowl 50, rounding out an impressive resume.
One thing that he has never done is play in London. Von says he is pushing him to try and play in this game.
“This is my first time playing in London. Who knows how many chances I will get to play there? So I want that to happen. I’m pushing for that to happen. I think you can go ahead and check that box, and you guys will see me play.”
