New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is doing everything he can to turn the team’s season around after a disastrous 1-5 start.
He ran the offensive meetings this week and according to the New York Daily News’ Pat Leonard, he was discussing game strategy and game plans.
“He was also coaching individual position groups and players on his expectations and adjustments for specifics plays in those meetings,” Leonard reported on Twitter/X.
Sources: Giants head coach Brian Daboll turned back to the clock to his days as the Bills’ offensive coordinator this week and ran the Giants’ offensive meetings with players as he once did in Buffalo.

Daboll has an extensive background in offense, but did say he wouldn’t be stepping on the toes as far as play-calling goes with current offensive coordinator Mike Kafka. Especially in the Week 7 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
Daboll, who has over six years experience across multiple NFL teams as the offensive coordinator, made a huge impact on quarterback Josh Allen during his time with the Buffalo Bills.
“In terms of my path of my career and getting better, he was probably the most influential one,” Allen told ESPN of Daboll last week. “He’s a guy that I [would] talk to each and every day.”
The Giants are hoping to avoid a fifth-straight loss on Sunday and perhaps Daboll, who has the ability to pump up an offense, could do just the trick what that offensive line.
