After spending last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, defensive end Carlos Dunlap is now a free agent, but it does not sound like he has any idea what’s next for him next season or beyond.

During an interview with Forbes this week, Carlos Dunlap addressed his future in the NFL, making it clear that he’s open to signing with another team and helping them attempt to win a Super Bowl, but a return to the Kansas City Chiefs is also not out of the question, either.

“I can help another team get one of their own or help the Chiefs again,” Dunlap told Forbes. “The Chiefs haven’t ruled that out, but currently it’s a waiting game.”

Dunlap also said he’s unsure if he’ll play at all next season, but claims that he is still in good enough shape to contribute.

“I’m a free agent, and I feel great, and I still love the game,” Dunlap said. “I’m a realist.”

Dunlap didn’t sign with the Kansas City Chiefs until the start of training camp last year, so he still has plenty of time to make his decision if he does choose to play for a team this NFL season.
