During Sunday afternoon’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon might have had the best touchdown celebration of the year when he pulled out a coin, flipped it, and then had the rest of the team kick it, mocking the NFL’s controversial decision to have the Ravens and Bengals flip a coin to determine home-field advantage if the Ravens won Sunday’s game, even though the Bengals won the AFC North division.

Talking to reporters after the game, Joe Mixon acknowledged that he might get fined by the NFL for his use of a prop during the hilarious celebration, but he wasn’t too worried about it because he revealed that someone else will be paying the fine on his behalf: former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, who actually came up with the idea for the celebration.

“I might get fined for that. Then they said Chad [Johnson] would cover whatever fine there is. I’m going to holler at Chad,” Mixon said after the game, according to Bengals reporter Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer. “If he said it, I’m sure he’s a man of his word.”

Chad Johnson is no stranger to paying fines to the NFL. Throughout his career, he paid out numerous fines to the league after his iconic touchdown celebrations. It looks like he could be paying out one more even in retirement.
