Josh Allen Bills Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to take on the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs, Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones has some high praise for Bills star quarterback Josh Allen.

During a press conference this week, Chris Jones made it clear that he has a lot of respect for the way that Josh Allen plays the game and opened up about what makes him so hard to defend on the field.

“I mean, he’s a warrior,” Jones said according to Pro Football Talk. “You look at the plays he made last time we played them — he was going out of bounds and ended up throwing a 40-yarder running out of bounds off his back leg. He’s tough to bring down, a couple of times we had him wrapped up, and he still got rid of the ball.

“His competitiveness within his game, he can make any throw. He has a big arm. He also has talent around him, Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, [James] Cook, who has become a vital part of their offense later on here. I think they have been playing really well together.”

The Chiefs have obviously gotten the better of the Bills recently in the playoffs, beating Buffalo in each of their matchups the past two seasons. But this matchup will be in Buffalo instead of in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. We’ll have to see if that ultimately makes a difference this weekend.
