Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers has spent the off-season being linked to the QB-needy Jets. They might be one big boost at that position away from contending, but one Jets legend has sent a message to the future Hall of Famer. And it’s a soon-to-be inductee in Canton as well: Darrelle Revis.
Revis is an icon in the Tri-State Area. He put together one of the best careers a cornerback could have and quickly became a fan favorite. Even after the whole “won the Super Bowl for the New England Patriots” thing. So his word will always carry a significant amount of weight among Jet fans. Revis made it clear what he thinks Rodgers needs to do, should he be traded to New York.
“Come in and be humble,” Revis told TMZ Sports.

The TMZ article featured more from Revis, who spoke about what he thinks Rodgers can bring to the table, and what the Jets have around him.
“I believe he has weapons at every position,” said Revis, a 7x Pro Bowler. “As Jets fans. As Jet lovers. We can see some high-scoring games. We can see some big victories.”
“Having a superstar quarterback in Rodgers, he can definitely put points on the board very quickly which would help the defense rest much better and they can be more explosive.”
Revis, Stephen A. Smith, and Jet fans alike have been excited about the prospect of having Rodgers on the team. Just don’t ask Joe Klecko, who recently blasted the quarterback and said he’d be a problem.
Of course, as it’s been said, any scenario with Aaron Rodgers and the Jets would involve the Packers trading Rodgers. He also has to decide, himself, about his playing future.
