The NFL world is still awaiting a free agency decision for veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who remains the most high-profile receiver in the free agent market right now. But even though an official decision has yet to be announced, it’s looking like one team has emerged as a clear frontrunner to land him.
As Michael Davis Smith of Pro Football Talk points out, the Vegas betting odds have recently shifted dramatically in favor of DeAndre Hopkins signing with the Tennessee Titans, perhaps indicating that someone in the know might have a little bit of inside information.
“The Titans’ odds of signing Hopkins are now -300. Just yesterday, they were +500,” Smith wrote for Pro Football Talk on Thursday. “Sometimes a dramatic shift in the odds like that means someone with inside information is placing bets. Other times, it’s just bets placed by people who think they’re in the know.”
This is a pretty big update that could give a hint at Hopkins’ intentions. As a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

Obviously, this does not necessarily mean that Hopkins will sign with the Tennessee Titans as it’s not quite official yet, but they certainly seem to be the frontrunners right now.
