U.S. Olympian Devon Allen recently had a strong outing at the USATF NYC Grand Prix. The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver and former Oregon Ducks standout made a bold claim about his standing in the NFL.
Allen made it clear that he believes he’s the fastest player in the league. The former Oregon speedster spoke to TMZ about his thoughts on the matter.
TMZ wrote, “Days after the race (where Devon finished 2nd), TMZ Sports talked to the former Oregon track star and 2x Olympian … and asked him if he was the fastest player in the league.
“I definitely am [the fastest],” Allen said matter of factly.”
Devon Allen is undoubtedly right to have a high opinion of himself, as he competed in the Olympics and has proven to be one of the fastest hurdlers in the United States and the world.
