Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson made the second start of his NFL career this week and notched his first win, leading the Browns to victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It had to be a good feeling, but he’s not dwelling on the win for too long.

During his postgame press conference, Dorian Thompson-Robinson made it clear that while he was happy to get the win, he was immediately shifting his focus to the team’s upcoming game against the Denver Broncos and correcting some of the mistakes he made on Sunday.

“I’m already focused on next week. I’m focused on going to Denver,” Thompson-Robinson said. “But yeah, man, I’m super happy, glad that I can get this one for my teammates and actually go out there, like I said, get the reps at practice, make the mistakes throughout the week. And so that way those mistakes don’t come up on Sunday.

“And there were some times where there were plays I messed up in the week that we got corrected today, and they were huge for us coming down the stretch.”

Thompson-Robinson was able to lead the team on a late drive to set up a game-winning field goal. We’ll have to see if he has similar heroics this week.
