Former Philadelphia Eagles star DeSean Jackson is one of the most memorable players in the history of the organization. But Jackson isn’t all that happy with the organization at the moment because of who is currently using his number.
Jackson ranks third in the history of the organization in career receiving yards. And he obviously has some memorable moments to boot. Look no further than the “New Miracle at the Meadowlands” against the New York Giants in 2010.
There is an argument that Jackson’s No. 10 jersey number should be either retired by the Eagles organization, or at the very least reserved for one of the best players on the team.
Instead, the Eagles have their punter, Braden Mann wearing the No. 10 jersey that Jackson used to wear.
Jackson spoke about this during an appearance on the Up & Adams podcast with Kay Adams, stating that he sees this as “lowkey disrespectful”.
“Man, you see that?” said Jackson about Mann wearing his old number. “That’s disrespectful lowkey. You got a punter wearing D-Jax’s number? Oh my gosh man. I guess I’m not as special as I thought I was, man.”

This got a good laugh from Kay Adams, who actually agreed with Jackson about this.
He does have a point. Eagles fans who remember No. 10 making huge offensive plays are now watching a punter doing pretty average things.
However, Mann deserves at least some credit, particularly due to a big play that he made on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
Mann converted on a fake punt attempt for the Eagles on Sunday, throwing a 28-yard pass to Olamide Zaccheaus for a first down.

I guess there is some magic in that No. 10 jersey after all…
